People, especially when young, don’t tend to think about the future and what might happen when they’ll get old. They live life in the here and now, eating what they want, smoking, drinking and generally – just having fun.
While having fun is important, it’s also important to think about the future, and to take good care of ourselves even when we are 25 and not only when we are 65.
Smoking for instance, is one of the main causes of death and illnesses. There is no point in keeping in shape or eating healthy if you also smoke. So take this as your top priority – minimize or quit smoking completely.
Exercise is another important element. Routine, daily exercise will help you stay in shape, and it will also encourage you to stay healthy by eating well and by relaxing once in a while.
On the subject of eating – nutrition is highly important when it comes to prevent aging. Make sure you eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains and lean meet. This is because obesity is one of the top reasons for dying early.
